Substrate Culture
The root of the crop is fixed to an organic or inorganic matrix in, by drip irrigation or trickle irrigation methods, crop nutrient solution supply. Growing media can be loaded into a plastic bag, or in the ditch or tank cultivation. Cultivated in nutrient solution matrix is a not circulating, called open system, this prevents the nutrient solution circulating through the disease spread.
Substrate cultivation buffering capacity, water conflicts, between nutrients and for O2 does not exist. Equipment is simple, low cost, high harvest, widely used in production.

What are the Hydroponic

Hydroponics is a subset of hydroculture and is a method of growing plants

using mineral nutrient solutions, in water, without soil. Terrestrial plants

may be grown with their roots in the mineral nutrient solution only or in

an inert medium, such as perlite, gravel, mineral wool, expanded clay

pebbles or coconut husk.

 include pathogen attacks such as damp-off due to Verticillium wilt caused by the high moisture levels associated
